Watching a shadow

Of a fence wall on a house…

Shape-shifting slowly

  • It is happening quite a lot on this haiku.

    There is someone watching,
perhaps in a hurry but the shadows are slow,
there is also a fence (to get in?)
and the wall and the house.

Whose home it is, the house?

    Quite a big story.

  • Tikkis, it was I, watching very, very slowly... The shadow was, so to say, in a hurry...
I don't know who the owners of the fence and the house are... It must be two different families...
I was just watching this rather 'dramatic’ scene from the nearby sidewalk cafe...
A haiku written almost out of desperation... Usually, when on my café haiku safaris, it takes about half an hour for me to get into the right mood… But not yesterday…Nothing seemed to happen…
As I was in no hurry, I took the time to observe the said shadow carefully. Initially, it reminded me of a mountain lion… But then it began to shrink and lost much of its majestic appeal associated with lions!(: I felt the need to change the locality, with that scene stored in my memory, and when I did so, the mood (of desperation due to lack of inspiration etc.) changed, and I wrote a couple more – those posted on my other blog under Shape-shifting Charlie...!:)
